first time mercedes owner

Hello everyone! Ive been lurking on these threads for a while now. Just got my first mercedes, 1995 e320. Only had it a few days and check engine light came on. I read here how to build the diagnostic tool and pulled the following codes:
PIN 8 ECU:
1 No fault found

PIN 14 CC/ETA:
2 EA/CC/ISC control module (N4/1) or Safety contact switch (M16/1s1) or Stop lamp switch or Cruise control switch or Actual value potentiometer or Starter lock-out/back-up lamp switch or engine speed signal or vehicle speed signal or closed throttle position switch or safety relay in EA/CC/ISC control module
6 Starter lock-out/backup lamp switch
14 Closed throttle position contact switch

So now my question is where to go from here. Im a newbie to Mercedes but not to car repairs in general. However, Ive always owned old pre computer cars (mostly 60s chevy v8s) so Im out of my element when it comes to all these sensors. I can pull, tear down, and rebuild a sbc 350 all day long but have no idea where to start with this engine. Any help is much appreciated. I havent noticed anything "wrong" with the car, ie it starts, runs and drives. The check engine light has gone out a few times but then keeps coming back on. Im confident I can do a repair myself if i just get an idea of where to start. Please help and take it easy on a new mercedes guy. Thanks!
