Will this transmission fit a 450SL? reply needed quickly.
 
I've ordered a rebulilt transmission for my 450sl at a cost of $1300 from adsit company. I'd be glad to send it back for a refund if this transmission would fit. It's from a 380SL. Are there any adapters to mount to my 4.5 or is it impossible w/o changing engines to the 380? I need t

the 380sl tranny is a 4 speed. I don't think it is compatible with the 3-speed 450SL trannys
