W210 4matic drive shaft
 

Hello, I am trying to find out if a drive shaft from a 98/99 E3204matic will fit a 98 E320 sedan. Local dealership suggest checking VIN to VIN to find compatability. I have asked the seller for the VIN from which he took the drive shaft. If he can't provide the VIN or part number, I don't know which way to go. I think the front drive shaft for a sedan is OEM #2104102701 and the complete shaft part OEM is 2104104606.
The seller says the interchange part number is 431-59041. I can't find anything on that number.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. :confused:

They're all the same according to EPC.

Thanks, that's where I got my info. I pulled the driveshaft out today. I think I'm going to search around town for a good driveshaft repair shop.
