SL500 Instrument Cluster: How are the wire connectors removed????

This post continues my attempts to determine why the speedo and tach failed after replacing my battery. I have successfully separated the cluster from the dash, BUT how are the wire connectors removed without breaking them? There are two round connections on either end of the '95 SL500 instrument cluster and two rectangular on either side of the center of the cluster. I managed to free the left rectangular connector but I hesitate to try further to avoid damage.

Is there a "tab" release for the rectangular connector? I can not see enough because the area between removed cluster and the dash is limiting.

How do the round connectors come off?? Pull straight or twist and pull?

I need some help as soon as possible.

Thanks Steve 330-635-4204

I found out, the rectangular have a "black pulltab" to permit pulling straight off and the round plugs pull straight off.
