I made a post about a clanking sound coming from front part of my transmission when I started it up. My reverse has been gone for the longest (maybe 2 years), not completely, but from a stand still I could not even reverse up a sidewalk. Started my car and heard the clanking again, which only lasts about 1-2 seconds when car turns over went out to go to the store and I have my reverse again. Anyone care to share some insight on this strange thing?

Might just be coincidence.
Sounds more like whatever was blocking hydraulic pressure moved on. Valve body , piston, band.... On the other hand, maybe it's karma. ![]() Jim
