Looking at lifts for the house???

Anyone have any experience with lifts like the one in the link above? Looking at something mid rise, because of the ceiling height of my garage. This type of scissor lift seems to be my best option, open middle, under 2k, 110v,6000lb, moveable, can be rolled outside.

I purchased a mid rise lift from Harbor Freight about four years ago and have been very satisfied with it. There's quite a few to choose from and the prices vary from $800 to $2k. I have a Porsche and there's a forum that I go to wher this is a popular topic. Go to 993 Forum - Rennlist Discussion Forums and search for mid rise lift. I love mine and use it all the time.

The MaxJax 6K# portable may give you more options.

Just have to watch out when you lift the car in a normal garage with the hood open full vertical on an MB. :uhoh:

I like the Max jax as well, but it seems to have a wider foot print which is no good for me
