Anyone have a timing chain cover for 103? (pic)
After replacing my head gasket, I noticed I was still leaking oil on my driveway overnight -- not much, only 3 or 4 drops but nonetheless I wanted to fix it. It was coming from the front so I took off the timing chain cover and found a hole near the O-ring seal. No clue how it got there or how long it's been like that, and amazingly it wasn't leaking more than it was.
Sooo, I either need to repair this one (no idea how I would -- weld maybe?), or replace it with a used one if someone has one for sale. Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated. (I realize this belongs on swap shop board, but I need some quick assistance here -- sorry ![]() TIA! ~Paul ______________________ '91 300E, 208k miles ![]() ![]() Last edited by pmizell; 03-16-2002 at 02:42 PM. |
