I think your info is pointing you to a new Bosch MAF as a first step. I don't think the solvents are useless, but they don't work for all failure modes.

Replaced MAF sensor with another as of 24 Aug 13.

I had purchased a used one from Peach Parts forum member Bondavi, who said he'd guarantee against defective parts.

Visibly, it was certainly in better condition than the one I had, but of course that doesn't really mean anything.

Anyway, whether the replacement MAF works or not, the vehicle is still having idling issues.

Regardless of idle quality, have you been able to drive it home?
