W210 Engine management plug

Trying to replace my brake light switch and cannot unplug my engine management plug to pass through the panel under the dash/steering wheel....I see that it has a slide on the back but cannot get it unplugged...I know this is a stupid question but how does it work??

Never mind I got it thanks....please delete this topic!!!!

I don't think you need to unplug it.
