rear inside door handle doesn't open door
 

I have a 2004 C230 Kompressor that the passenger side rear door won't open from the inside. Everything on the door works except that handle. I removed the door panel and the cable to the handle is connected and moves when the handle is pulled. The cable disappears into the other end so I can't see where it is broken or not attached or what it attaches to. I can't figure out how to access that area. Anyone have a schematic or explanation of how to open it up to fix?
