Exhaust manifolds
 

I found a set of european exhaust manifolds off an 84 500SE. I have a euro 86 420, but it has the 2 into 1. I want to switch to dual exhaust, so I need ones like these where the driver's side points towards the ground instead of behind the engine. So will these fit on my car with no problem?

Check www.timevalve.com for some ideas. I think the manifolds will physically fit, but there might be a difference in exhaust port configuration between the 84 M117 and the 86 M116. The exhaust manifold part numbers for a US 84 500SEL and a US 86 420SEL are different if that's any indication.
