M119 engine advice

Hi all.

Looking to buy a W140 5.0 v8, 80k on the clock.

The owner tells me that it floods if stopped and started after a short run.
Any ideas as to why this would happen?

Many thanks

Kam

Check fuel pressure regulator at left rear of engine , remove rubber hose at vacuum sensing line to see if fuel comes out , if it does replace regulator
