Question Sea Foam Users: Any Tips On Using It?

I recently purchased a case of 6 cans of Sea Foam, and have some questions about using it correctly please. I plan on using it on my 1985 Mercedes Benz 500SEL. It has over 200k miles on it, and is currently on it's second motor & auto transmission. I purchased this product because I read so many positive reviews on Amazon for it, after I started experiencing a strange hesitation from my car. It was as if the motor was racing and slowing down quickly in succession. My rebuilt auto transmission has less 20K miles on it, so I think the problem is coming from the motor. I purchased Sea Foam in the hopes of avoiding an expensive mechanics visit, and am hoping someone can tell me how to use this product beyond what the vague instructions on the can say. I plan on putting a whole can in my crank case, since my car uses about 9 quarts of oil, and also a can in my gas tank, and maybe sucked into my fuel line.

After installing Sea Foam into my car, do I drive my car around for a while, or just let it sit with the motor running? And for how long should I leave the motor running? I rarely use this car anymore, so I want to make sure I leave the motor on enough to get the best results. If anyone here has experience with Sea Foam..please let me know what I need to do and thank you kindly.
