I need to know how the ignition coil unplugs from wire harness/ M104 engine 1996 thru 1999.I've heard of people tearing these up.

When i changed a coil... I just took off the cover... pulled the ignition wire and unscrewed the coil... all intuitive.

yes have boot,and wire unpulled just need to unplug from harness, does it have a button you push to unlock it.I have to get my son to disconnect,as I have nerve damage to hands.

i don't remember a button... i am sure i just wiggled it...
