Euro vs N.A. Horsepower W126

Euro vs N.A. Horsepower W126

How much horsepower is there in a Euro 560 as opposed to a N.A. 560 ?

I thought I read somewhere that a N.A. version has around 238hp and in Euro trim 299hp. I'm just going by memory. Is this correct?

BTW is there a preferred year for the 560s?
