w124 parking lamp

Does anyone know where the ground is for pass. side parking lamp is I have 2 w124's that have the same problem.

If you mean in the tail light cluster, the bulb grounds through the metal strip the bulb screws/bayonets into. The metal strip is then grounded to the connector. A common failure is for the claws in the tail light cover to deform and fail to hold the metal strip tightly enough to keep good contact with the 12V spring terminal the tip of the bulb should contact. IIRC the only solution is to find good tail light covers.

Sorry about that I got ahead of myself. Front passenger side will not light most of the time. I am wondering if it is a ground and where it is grounded.

rivman, remove the lamp and inspect the base. My experience is the base develops a flat spot over time and the lamp fails to light. If that's the case simply replace the lamp ... with an Osram Sylvania lamp.
