95 S420, head gasket, BUY OR NOT TO BUY ? PART 2
|
I'm on a slow connection so the link won't work.
If it is as bad as you say, offer sub scrap price as a parts car for future use. |
Video played fine for me. I agree with the OP's assessment of the vehicle primarily having value as a parts car.
Where did that accent originate? |
135K ?? Maybe times two or three.
Its a worn out pos with a blown motor. I would very very carefully close all the doors and leave. |
Obviously a California car, and you must live on the West Coast(assuming California).
Sadly, the mileage does not reflect the condition. We all use mileage a wear indicator, and give the car a valuation, but sadly the mileage indicator does not reflect this, and the people who owned the car-No respect for the car or themselves-who would sit in those seats, and put their arm on a arm rest like that? The arm rest did not look like that one day to the next... The people who worked on the car. The fuel filter black fiberglass cover is missing? The other thing that strikes me is they elected to drive the for a while with a blown head because is light in color... Walk away... Many cars in the San Francisco Area or Los Angeles. I restore S-class vehicles for friends, and it is my favorite Mercedes car, but not that one...I do not drive in torn seats-It disrespectful to me and others.. My seats look like this... carfax confirmed mileage… it is in california, sacramento area …. I'm from czech republic …… i feel sorry for this vehicle …. |
A low mileage engine if not overheated. For $3000 in parts you might have a trouble free vehicle.I've bought Hondas with blown gaskets and sold for profit when I fixed them
