DEAR SRS, I'M NEW TO THIS FORUM, WHICH I'VE FOUND VERY USEFUL WHEN FIXING MY 1990 300E 3.0.
LAST WEEK I RAN OUT OF FUEL AND FROM THAT MOMENT MY CAR REQUIRES AT LEAST 3 ATTEMPTS BEFORE STARTING, ALSO, WHEN I PRESS THE ACCELERATOR THE ECONOMY METER GOES UP AND THE CAR BARELY ACCELERATES, AS IF FUEL SUPPLY IS NOT ENOUGH FOR THE ENGINE.
I'M NOT A GREAT MECHANIC AND THERE IS NOT A MERCEDES BENZ SHOP AROUND, I WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE.

you may have burnt out your pump,or you sucked trash into the filter.I would change filter and see if it helps.other wise you pump might be failing.Mi gusto Mexico.

THANKS, I WILL CHANGE THE FILTER AND HOPE FOR THE BEST, I DON'T KNOW THE COST OF THE FUEL PUMPS, BUT I GUESS THESE ARE EXPENSIVE.

Changed the fuel filter and works ok, I had a lot of trouble with leaks at the connectios but now it's fine. thanks
