1997 SL320 will not start or take a charge, windows stuck in open position
 

Had this car in storage for a few months. Tried to start and it made a clicking noise. Engine never tried to turn over. Thought battery was dead. Tried to charge, would not take a charge. Bought new battery. Still nothing. When first tried to turn over engine, windows rolled down and would not roll back-up. Someone told me there is a started relay that could be the problem. Any ideas where to find the relay?

The anti theft on these cars is built into the engine computer and shuts off the injectors. Older cars shut off the starter.

Did the windows roll down when you tried to crank with the old battery? It might have been a low voltage issue causing this. They should go back up with a good battery. There is a chance the window fuse blew when the windows went down, I'm not sure what number it is.
