Front Strut part check
 

I have a 88 300 TE and was planning on changing shocks this week.
I have a used, almost new set of Bilsteins with part F4 V36 0361 HO. For whatever reason, I checked with Bilstein USA fitment and this car should have 22 100436 with old # as F4 VN3 A043 HO. However, a european Bilstein listing shows the V36 0361 as being fitted to both sedans and wagons.

Anyone know if the shocks I have will work? Don't want to tear it out and find it it's the wrong part.

I just checked with Pelican parts online, they show the same struts number used for the 88 and 89 sedans or wagons. Is Bilstein USA trying to confuse the issue?
