w123 wipers come on with my low beam lights

Hi, my w123 wipers come on with my low beam lights, I have checked for fused wireing in the control stalk. I'm at a loss, can any one help?

It seems that you have a short in your multi switch on the steering column. I would try to switch over a known good one to see what happens.

Hello,

I recently saw this video from MS on youtube...it's on a W124, but it may help you to troubleshoot your problem.

The multi function switch assembly is damaged, replace it and the issue should be gone.

My 92 did exactly the same thing, it was the ground under the headlight in my case.
