No pick n pull yards near you? That's the first place I'd look.
Have you already removed yours? How hard is it to remove?
There is a 93 300e at the yard I go to. I'll look at it tomorrow. If it's not too difficult I might pull it for you. It costs $16

Hi Dave , mine is a 93 300D , turbo , I was having A/c blower problems , and it seems the last fuse holder on the bottom left was burned out , I removed the old fuse and scraped the burned bakalite that was stopping the fuse from seating properly and got my A/C to work again , but in sure it is a indication of too much current being drawn through the fuse or a short some place , I am not sure if a 93 300E would work in my car , Thank you Marty.

i thought i had that problem.... another member said to "scratch" the bottom part of said fuse hold... i did with a pick type tool..and scraped away some charred plastic...

i was back in business...

it happened to be the fuse that jumps the aux fans.. I still might have a "sticking" left fan.... but it's winter...so i will know better in the spring..
