door lock problem
 

door will not open with a key drivers side will not lock as well

Do the rest of your doors open ? Does the passenger side door lock/unlock ?

I could only lock it from the passenger side door, that locked all the doors. I tried to unlock the car 15 min. later and could not unlock either door. The key turned in the locks but did nothing. I had to enter the car with a piece of thick wire to pull door lock up, that unlocked all the doors. I checked the vacuum pump under the back seat seemed to be ok.
Could there be something broken on both door locks?

No trunk locks on those critters?

With a 15 minute vacuum bleed off you have a leak in your vacuum system. Your friendly easy to use Mityvac should make short work of it.

Drivers door may have a bad mechanical but obviously your vacuum system has an issue.
