Brake lights & Battery light stay on. help!

When I parked the car and turned the car off, the Brake Light, Brake Sensor light, and Battery Light all COME ON...light up and stay on, on the panel, even when I take the key out... Had to disconnect battery for the night. Also, wouln'dt you know it, now the glow plugs don't work. A short somewhere? Any ideas? Thanks

Try turning the ignition on and off several times. Could have a bad ignition switch that is not shutting off.

Check ground strap from engine to body , had many of these from transmission shops.

Thanks for the tips! One thing I didn't mention was when I took the hot cable off the battery post, it would spark like crazy and I could hear a "Click" down behind the engine....yesterday when i went to hook the battery back up there was no spark, no click, and now everything is back to working order. It will probably happen again, I will look into your suggestions. Thanks again, phill
