1984 190E 2.3: Gas gauge/Temp gauge just went out.

Just had the temp and fuel gauge quit on the 190e. I guessed it's a fuse or relay. Did a search, looks like the problem can be attributed to fuse #9 and sometimes brake light issues as well.

I've become veryyy weary of everythingg being different on 84 models. Fuse box cover is apparently not readable and I'm not with the car. Anyone got a fuse box layout diagram for an 84 190? Or a picture of the fuse box cover? Or knowledge to say whether 84's have a different fusebox layout than later models?

I found a fusebox diagram in the FSM, but it only lists the fuse values, and not what their purpose is.

Thanks!
