Where is the EGR Valve? 2000 E430 M113 4.3
I am the proud new owner of a 2000 E430! You can't say you got a new car on the Peach Parts forum and not show a picture... Of course, the bargain car comes with a to-do list. The check engine light was on. P0400 Code, EGR Valve. I got the part at my local MB dealership. I looked in the engine compartment and cannot see the EGR Valve that I am going to replace. My search on the forum did not yield any clues. I also checked the Mercedes EPC; it shows the part but no clue where it is located. Do you know where it is? Can you snap a picture for me? Thank you in advance!

I can't help you on the EGR valve, but nice car!
It looks like black on gray. How many miles are on this bad boy?

On the M112 it is at the back of the engine (right side) under the air duct. If the M113 is different you might try tracing the EGR hoses from the valve covers backwards.

Thank you for the clue. EGR valve installed. Check Engine light is off now!
121,000 miles on the car. Runs great!

FYI - If you are going to do your own maintenance, there are cheaper sources for parts than the dealer such as the parts section of this site and others. Most of the time you can get same as MB (oe) parts.
