slk alarm system
 

The alarm on my 98 slk has started to go off randomly. I notice that the red light on the alarm toggle switch is also staying on continuously. When the alarm goes off I can stop it by remotely unlocking the car but there doesn't seem to be any pattern to this. At times the light on the toggle switch will go off but something as minor as touching the gas pedal will cause it to light up again. Any ideas?????
