1993 300ce convertible seatbelt extender

Will disconnecting all connections from module 140-820-2526 disable the seatbelt extender only? I am willing to manually reach for seatbelts.

Do a search for "seatbelt presenters" You will find half a dozen threads discussing the W124 presenters and 300ce's in general. Some of the guys are gone; some still here. Lee & Ferdman are two that know these cars well.
