What type of tint is this?
 

I noticed on several new S class MBZ's there was a tint on thewindow, but is not the regular dark tint or chrome, etc. It just made the person bairly visible and it looked factory. It almost gave the effect that you get when you see a person from a distance and there is aglare on the car.
What type of tint is that or is it some sort of special window that makes them harder to see?

Business offices (especially in the hotter parts of the region) have this type of window...polarized glass.

I don't think it's a factory application, but rather, an aftermarket film. Polarized automotive glass is not DOT approved...:confused:

Mercedes AMG cars come with tinted glass that is different than non-AMG cars. IT has a bluish tint. Its kinda neat.
