Need an affordable, knowledgable mechanic for 92 sl500 in Las Vegas.

I have a few strange issues that can take a novice hours to diagnose.
1. Rear and front running lights on Driver side out and not bulb or fuse.
2. Had a spin out (animal in road), SRS Light and rollbar up. Any ideas to reset, etc.
I've owned since 98 and have spent a fortune on odd repairs/dishonest mechanics.
The combination of being a female and it being an MB.

Search this forum for the roll bar "reset" procedure. Essentially, you need to access the diagnostic port and make a simple electronic tool to read and reset the error codes. Move the headlamp switch to the parking lamp positions and see if the side markers come on.

Sorry about your misfortune. Sadly, it is not just being a female that causes you to get odd repairs / dishonest mechanics. I have had a time out of mine. Good MB mechanics are hard to find - especially ones that can work on the early 90s+ models.

With the car running push the "raise" rollbar switch and hold it until you hear a click. Takes a few seconds. All done

Here is a list of Vegas Shops. The only problem is that this list is 8-10 years old. At least it is a start for you.
