Idiot light question on a W140
 

The second from the left idiot light on a 93 400SEL (w140) ; is it an oil level light or oil temp light? its the light in between the coolant level light and the burned out bulb indicator light. What kind of sensor does it use and where is it located? Mine had been on for a long time, just hadnt gotten around to getting it fixed and now today I did an oil change and it seems to go off and on, ie: railroad tracks, coming to a stop will make it go on or off...
any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
