1980 280C - Whats it worth?

Someone called me and asked if I could help her sell her Benz. It's a 1980 280C, she's had it since new, its garage kept and in very nice shape. Dark blue with a saddle tex interior

Mechanically it looks fine, normal stuff under the hood and chassis, front end looks in good shape, MINOR body rot, REALLY clean interior. AC allegedly works but needs a charge of r-12.

By normal stuff I mean the front and back windshield seals are bad, there is some leakage from gaskets under the hood, but it looks and sounds good.

Here is a link to the album on facebook, I'll add more to it next time I see the car, probably tomorrow. Friend requests from fellow Benz-heads are welcome, just message me so I know who / why.

Very hard to tell with the information provided. Somewhere between $500 and three grand. Pics will help, as would a description of the "normal stuff" under the hood and chassis and "minor body rot".

US car with rust $500-1500 is about what I would guess.

I sold my 79 280E with similar rust but a worse off interior for $1200. I would think that $1500 - $2500 is a fair price for the car because it is a gas coupe. Its too bad it has that rust because it looks to be a nice car.
