Sit ups, push ups, jogging, and calorie counting. Avoid any types of highly processed foods. Get a juicer and replace a meal per day with it. Avoid meat from animals that have been given growth hormones.

That's one way but with the beer, whipped cream and sausages, it's likely to have little effect. I heard somewhere that longer seatbelts are available for some MBs. Have you tried entering your VIN into the EPC?

I'd probably check with a dealership.

Exercise more and/or eat less.

Exactly.

Slide the seat back and lower.
Lower the shoulder height adjustment on the "B" pillar.

Extend the buckle connection.

Those are pretty nifty.

If you put one in the buckle though, just be sure to actually use the seat belt itself. The buckle has a sensor that lets the supplemental restraint system (SRS) know when the seat belt is in use or not. In a minor front end collision, below a certain threshold but above nothing happening, the SRS will activate only the seat belt detonator (retractor) and not the airbag - unless the seat belt is not in use, in which case the airbag will detonate. So for that middle ground impact with only the extender installed, you get nothing except a face full of windshield. For a serious impact, the system goes straight to seat belt retractor AND airbag.
