W140 springs and shocks on c140

When I bought my 96 C140 500 it was lowered with H&R springs so I deside to return it back to stock the dealer is very costly they estimate 4 shocks and springs for about $2000 so I bought a bilstin shocks and a used oem springs from w140 sedan but when I drive the car on highways it seems that it is not the C140 I knew before so my ??? Is the sedan shocks and springs are matching I mean they can work on each? My car has the normal shocks.
