Front drivers seat memory module
 

Have researched replacing memory module with no valid results. Trying to unplug connection to prevent backward tilt when shutting off ignition. Does this module control anything other than seat movement? How to access it in my 1989 300E? Many thanks for any specific instructions.

I believe the seat memory module and the seat motor controls are one unit. I am thinking they can be separated.
