Extended Warranty
 

Just went to dealer, they want 2,888 for 100,000 miles 5 year extended warranry with no deductible. I have a '99 S420 W/ 45 K miles. Should I do it. What type of problems do you guys get w/ this car.

Is this a Starmark warranty? If so go for it! If you only have only one problem in the next 55,000 miles you will be happy for the warranty. And you will probably have more than one thing go wrong in that span. But what is *really* cool about Starmark warranty is that if you even think your car has a problem take it to the dealer....providing the dealer is a good one, of course.....and they will solve the problem and probably freshen anything that might be related to the problem as well. Starmark does not cover everything a new MB warranty does, but it is as good as it gets. Plus if you sell the car the warranty adds real value to it.
