I feel really stupid about 124 blower motor
I just replaced the blower motor and resistor on my w124 90 300CE and still get nothing to work. Replaced fuse seven....even replace climate control with a known working one.
Please help....

Or have you bothered to check if you are getting voltage to the blower? Blower voltage regulator is the usual suspect if not the fuse.

The fuse is a flat metal strip held by two screws. It is under a black plastic cap on the left front fender well near the shock tower. It is stand alone i.e., not with a group of other fuses.
These fuses are prone to hairline cracks that are difficult to see. |

I had a 300E where the connector bolted to the body behind the brake booster where the blower regulator plugs in was melted on the inside. It was a bear to replace and it showed no signs of damage on the outside. I went through the same procedure replacing the usual components only to find the connector melted.

Do you see anything that looks like this behind the brake booster? It could also be near the left front strut tower like Sugar Bear said.

Quote:
I snipped a 3 pin from the yard to test it. (when my blower quit) - it was a fuse problem
