battery drainage

My 86 300sl has a battery that's about a year old and granted that I don't drive it very much I went to start it last week and the battery was dead. I charged it back up and it lasted a couple of days and I went out to check it and it's dead again. Is it possible for lack of driving? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Greg. P.S.The clock doesn't work would that be an issue?
