Illuminated Door Sills
 

I searched for Illuminated Door Sills, but I did not find what I was looking for.

I noticed that jjrodger posted a while back about different colors to illuminated by not any part numbers or ways to do it.

I would like to learn how they are illuminated so I can change them to illuminate red, or so I can buy red bulbs, etc.

I have some aftermarket ones so can only comment on those. The lighting is done by thin fluro like strips that are ac powered. I believe that coloured plastic laid over the top of these would provide the necessary colour change.
