300E Radiator
 

The radiator on my car is a Behr. Could this be a replacement, or is it possible it is original?

probably original, but Behr does supply replacement units as well.

Might be possible to judge by the general condition of the installed radiator, but that's iffy at the best.

Behr is an MB OEM supplier, and just about every if not all MBs I have seen come with a Behr from the factory.

Just replaced my 1989 300E radiator. It was a Behr.....
Benz radiators are like computer hard drives...it's not if they are going to fail...it's when. They can last a long time. I know mine was original.

suggestion re: ...easy insurance re: broken rad neck

pull the top hose off and observe inside the neck
> if it has a metal insert in the neck- its an upgraded unit
> if no metal insert inside the neck is observed= borrowed time (and you may wish to do a new one)
