126 tranny question

84 500 sec. so if it is locked in second or low will it shift on up at the redline anyway?

i am thinking yes.

When my 91 300SE tranny locked in second it held at redline

Same with the kickdown switch disconnected but I didn't check the kickdown solenoid before getting it rebuilt.

bounce, bounce, bounce goes the rev limiter if it's held in the lower gear..

Get's the injector tips Good and open though!

Hit mine by accient in the 'heat of battle'..nothing ruins the fun like a hard rev limiter!

Jonathan

PS, if anyone knows what one would modify to do away w/ the rev limiter all together Please relay (ha!) the info my way
