How do I reconnect the recerculation tube that goes from exhaust manifold egr valve over to the intake? I cannot get that dang fitting on the intake side, underneath, to start for nothin! Help!

loosen it at the egr, don't remove it. there's also a clamp at the back, i forget where. it's tough but it can be done. unless, it's been off before and bent. good luck, chuck.

Can the car be run without the tube? Cap off the ends?

you have to plug the manifolds. otherwise, big vacuum leak and lotsa exhaust noise and it won't pass emissions. good luck, chuck.
