Cold start issues 190e 2.0

I'm having cold start issues with my 190E I just purchased.

On a cold start it will fire, idle rough, and then die. I have to go through this 2-3 times before it will finally start and stay running. However, I cannot give it any gas during this time or it will want to stall. After it's been running for about 1-2 minutes, I can give it gas and it runs fine after that. No issues warm starting, or if it's been sitting for 4-5 hours. Just overnight sitting.

I have tried changing out the OVP, and checked for vacuum leaks.

The next things on my list are to try to clean the Idle control valve, and then maybe swap out the cold start injector. Any other ideas?

If you just bought it, check all the regular maintenance items to see if they have been replaced recently - filters, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor. Oil change. And be DARN sure to use the correct spark plugs and wires - research that.

Many times I have done a full tune-up like the above and cars will purr like a kitten.

Surprisingly the PO took really good care of basic maintenance. At least the best on any 30yr old car I've purchased before. Plugs, wires, cap, and rotor were correct Bosch pieces in good shape. Had a recently replaced OE air filter. And oil was changed back in July, only driven a few hundred miles since.

I'm going to check the following things:

Idle control valve
Cold start injector
Duty cycle
O2 sensor

Well it doesn't have an idle control valve. Interesting.

Found the cold start injector bolts were slightly loose, possible vacuum leak there. The hose that goes to from the aircleaner to another hose that runs parallel the head was also slightly cockeyed. We shall see tomorrow morning.
