Well, what is the brand to buy this day in age? The Behr I bought for the 300SEL was crap and was always locked, so I am starting to believe it would be the same for the M117. Sadly Sachs does not seem to make one for the V8s anymore.

Behr? Meyle? OEM?

If the OE is much past $250 I will probably buy a Dakota Digital E-fan controller and install a dual speed Volvo fan from a 960/S90.
