Hello. This week I purchased a 1989 300D diesel to use as a commuter and run around vehicle. These cars and engines are pretty new to me, as I'm used to larger ones that are in diesel pickup trucks. Just have a few questions. Turbo? My car is currently naturally aspirated, and I would like to turbocharge it. Just glancing at the engine, it looks to be a 6 cylinder. I've looked online and the only turbo/manifolds I've found are for 5 cylinders. Am I missing a detail somewhere or is there an engine code I need to figure out? Also, I looked at the fuse box and there are different fuses than I have ever seen. One looks to be blown. Where would I get a replacement? Last issue is a minor fuel leak, seems to be around the injection pump, just can't pinpoint it. Is there a common issue with these cars? Apologies for not knowing much and thanks in advance. The car only has about 110K and I'm going to try to keep it as long as I can! Love it so far.
