2007 Mercedes R350 Rear Air Spring Problem

Hey Guys,

I am hoping that someone can help me with an issue on my wifes car. Today I noticed that the car was leaning towards one side. Taking a closer look it appeared that the right rear side of the car was much lower.

I jacked the car up and found that the car actually has air suspension. Was not aware of this before as the front had Struts. Anyways the rear right side air spring has not air in it. It was completely empty. I then started the car and the air spring become hard and compressed with air but the car did not raise itself. I am not familiar with the system and was hopping for some information to be able to determine the problem. My guess is that it is a problematic air spring, but I am also not sure how to remove it. I am guessing that simply raising the car and deflating and remove a few components will be enough.

If anyone has any information on the system and what I should check out I would appreciate it.
