98 E300 Glow Plug- Reset Check Engine Light

Newbie, just found the site, thank god!

Just replaced 6 glow plugs on my 98 E300TD, pesky little check engine light is not going away after removing the battery terminals for five minutes.

I REFUSE TO GO TO THE DEALER, as you can see by my logon name.

Any help would be welcome...
