Awful noise from heater/climate control
 

Has anyone ever had this problem before?
Everytime I turn on the heater at any setting I hear a weird annoying high pitch noise that sounds awful. The noise is constant, but the level of noise changes.

I had the same problem a while back. The blower motor bearings were shot. Had to replace the motor.

You can try to lube...
 

the motor with transmission fluid but, if that does not work, you have to change the motor$$:(

This happened on one of my 240's. I had to remove the air intake grill and was able to make a very long extension for my WD-40 spray can by using small shrink tubing to join the small extensions together. I managed to get the extension down to the motor and gave it a good long squirt. It worked! No more noise.
Perhaps, hopefully, your 190 blower will be easier to access than that damn 240 was.
