94 e320 tensioner pulley bracket bolt stuck... help
I got two e320, s and on both the bottem right bolt is loose but wont pull out like the other 2 took a while but I got it out ....now on installation the screw wont go in while tightening. Is there a trick here ..cant be both my cars threads are stripped.first time I played with them....anyone else have this issue?

Are you aware that there is a 13mm nut on the back side of that bolt? It doesn't thread into the aluminium casting.

No I did not how the heck do you reach that , ill check tommorow ty

bru023, it's likely that the nut is covered/hidden in gunk. Best to thoroughly clean the front of your engine in the process of sorting out the drive belt tensioner.

I Found it ty. You have to unplug a vaccum line ans some sensor to clear space but can just reach your hand in and hold the nut while tighting from front........all the work is now done and the belt is still lose:confused:99...im about to call it quits
