Weathertech window deflectors w126

Hey folks, just thought I would ask if anyone has tried the Weathertech 70072 window defectors on their w126 sedans?
I was looking on their website today when I was snooping the net for w126 goodies, and was surprised that they made a set for our older cars.

15 years ago my dad bought a set of weathertechs for his truck, and they have been a great add on; the ability to crack open the window when driving in the rain plus they are super low profile, which is why he got this specific brand in the first place, I remember reading the small insignia in the corner and that specific set was made in Germany
I wonder if they still are? His are still holding on good up to today!

Im sure they will help with the heat in the summer when we park our cars with the sunroof cracked open.

Anyone dared to order a set? im tempted, would probably look good on my black 560, once I get the windows lightly tinted as well. I cant find any actual pictures of w126's with them installed.
Weathertechs attach into the inside of the window channel, instead of the tacky cheapie ones that stick on the outside of the door.

haven't seen them but I'd be interested in them for the 1991 560SEL that is currently down due to fuel pump/fuel filter issues. Once it is up and running, I'll check them out. Weathertech seems to make some good quality items.....

Need air in the cabin? Why don't you just put the AC in the "Economy" mode (no compressor) and the fan on "lo" and leave the windows closed?
